The aircon which used to be in the living room. Just ignore the badly arranged cushions haha=S

For some reason, these droplets of water remind me of bacteria in an agar plate =)

The trunking & hole leading to the balconey O.o all's been painted over as of now!
Spent quite an amount of time pasting together newspaper to cover the table =S Cos nobody knows how much dust will fly from removing the old aircon! Brought down a variety of items for safekeeping, such as the double sticks XD I was incredibly sleepy but there was no way to take a nap...sofa's pointless cos there were workers walking about...it'll be freaky if some curious stranger just looked over to see my sleeping form!
Tried my new sprees from yesterday's sale, which I admit that I'm proud of since I nearly wanted to give up! I've had enough of having the same look, and I kinda like having many different looks myself, though I've yet to achieve that! I'm not much of a spender anyway on most days, so I guess that this once was fine.
Got ready for Shaun's party, then rushed to buy his prezzie =S Silly me, so last minute. To honestly speak, I don't really know why I was invited...is it because I gave "good" advice?
Dropped off at Tiong Bahru, then took a bus 63 opp the plaza and alighted at the last stop!! Pretty long journey...wonder how on earth did that guy make it to school in the past. When Shaun arrived to the "bus stop", he exclaimed that I looked beautiful...! Or maybe it was dark & therefore...yup, the remark. Or maybe I did something right haha! Anyway, we went to the basketball court where his other friends were playing. Walked towards the shelter where WJ was together with 2 other guys...intros were done, and I daresay that a certain guy my age(and S's secondary school friend)caught my eye with his dressing! His name's Elijah, or Jian De...and he looks(and sounds) pretty cool! English speakers tend to have a certain accent, which reminds me of that guy O.o
Moving on! I got to know L, a manicurist & we had a little language barrier, cos she speaks mainly in mandarin(to the point that I mistook her to be from china, judging by the accent)! Did I mention that the E dude has probs with his mandarin, just like that guy?! Gosh.
Hmm...we got to Shaun's house, which was cozy looking, and waited for the pizza! It was pretty funny for most of us to gather in his bedroom since the guys just stood around in a circle around S's bed! Had several laughs with L, and I admit that things were less awkward when the guys suggested to intro themselves & vice versa(there were more guys than girls at the party, & all of them are taller than me!! x_x).
Dinner at 9pm+(I think?)! Canadian pizza! =) Cheese!
Shaun had a councellor friend over who has a degree in psychology, so that dude was questioning him to no end, making us laugh XD I wasn't too lonely either since I smsed some friends during quiet moments =) I'm sure that most of us, including myself, are still curious to know why out of the female JC classmates of 8, he chose to remain in contact with me O.o Friendships are welcomed anyway, and I'm glad for all that! =)
Pity that I didn't get any pics of E, or even his contacts T_T But I still remember how he looks like!
I'm glad that I had more fun than expected, that's for sure =) Shaun does seem to know quite a no. of interesting people! I'm still regretting my choice of present, that's all...somehow I think that it didn't do much justice. If we're better friends in the future, I suppose that I'll do something else instead! People usually put more effort into stronger friendships anyway.
Didn't drink(as in alcohol), which was a little unexpected & a good thing too! Not particularly keen to overwork my liver and many more
http://naturalbias.com/ways-alcohol-can-bring-you-down/ and some which I will not state here! Left with WX, WJ, and Gina in a cab back at around 11.30+...glad to have company =) Below's the pics of the day!
