Hi all!

Sunday's sermon was about gratitude!

It started off with little phrases of the small things that we can be thankful for in our daily lives, such as,

" I may grumble over the drudgery of work, but thank you, God, that I am employed and able to provide for myself, because there are many others who do not have a job."

"I may complain about the twittering of birds which disrupt my sleep, but thank you, God, for being able to hear."

"I may dislike the choice of food available to me at times, but thank you, God, that I am able to fill my stomach, for there are many others who are starving."

okay, the above sentences aren't word for word, but they were roughly like that! I kinda thought that the 2nd sentence was hilarious XD

The sermon was a lovely one, but such a pity that I don't remember everything now! The moral behind this is to be patient & learn to see things in a different light, since we, as human beings, tend to take things for granted because of our selfishness & pride which can cloud our judgement. (of cos, this entire line's mine cos I seriously don't remember the sermon =S)

Anyway! Didn't go for sun NJD class, so took a break at home! But of cos I kinda regretted not going because I tried a few chunyatsus & wished that I were in class. Did I mention that in Fullmetal Alchemist ending 4(not Brotherhood!), Ed's actually doing a kick similar to purple belt & a chunyatsu? Sounds really random, but it occurred to me the other day when I was finding the full jap song to sing at k-box lol!

Best of all...had fish head curry for Sun's dinner! Yummeh! XD

Aww you're so cute!!

Each morning I awake,
my best friend beside me,
his eyes are wide with love,
and my heart soars again.

As I go through my day,
expectations on me,
my friend is always near,
to soothe my troubled mind.

When nighttime descends on us,
and the world is through with me,
at last I can meditate,
and give loving thanks for him.

My friend is very special,
a truly amazing soul,
he's very soft and gentle,
for he's my cat, after all!
