Received a phonecall past 12am from cousin Je's home no. asking if I could contact another cousin, G, to join us today! Pity that none of us had his hp. no., so resorted to fb. Then came the dreaded qn, which was, "How often do u practice your guitar these days??" Sad to say, and truthfully, about once a week or less lately, and that's probably due to my terrible planning of time. Not too sure when I cultivated this habit, but I got a feeling I know when(shan't be saying here tho).Think I should draw up a schedule & use less of the internet(or rather fb)to put in my 100%! Life's short, really. I know I can do better than this!

Woke up today, saw the time 12.45pm & practically flew out of bed since I was supposed to meet Je at 2.30-3pm-ish! Brushed, showered, lunched & smsed Je to meet a little later. Who would've known that we smsed at the same time =X & he was going to be late himself!

Met Je 1st, then Ibra joined us a few mins later! Was surprised to see my cousin's gf, so I kinda thought that he called her to follow since I asked Ibra along. Who would've known that she went off with her group of friends =X Both guys intro-ed themselves to each other, then we made our way down to Suntec! The guys kinda ignored me for a while, which I thought was rather amusing since both were so busy talking to each other about guitars & concerts XD Ibra turned to apologise lol but I was totally cool with it. Below are some pics of the Singapore Guitar Show! It's a little small since, well, it's a 1st in SG, & acoustic guitars were the main attraction. Spotted a few items such as colourful guitar picks(which I didn't buy! ARGH!) & guitar shaped paperclips($6.50), not forgetting colourful guitar strings! Wow!

Yellow casing XD

Ibra & IJe & IBrand of the colourful guitar strings! Am so gonna get some when I go to electric(MUST PERSEVERE NOW!!! Je's giving me another 2 months for that =S)
Postcard from SGSI think Je wanted to negotiate on the raw materials for making a guitar, since he was having a little chat wif the guy at the booth. Ibra bought some picks & a pick box, then we left the lil exhibition. Headed for Marina Sq, bumped into Je's older sister(and a mini fight about famous amos cookies ensued) followed by a drink from each-a-cup. Oreo Crushhh! It was a tad diluted, so my guess is that they used 2 cookies instead of the usual 3. I think that it was at this moment when my cousin said that he was going to give me another 2 more months(intensive)then I'd have to switch over to electric...one funny thing he said was that I shld give up njd(nahhh)& conc on the guitar! But like I mentioned earlier, it's a matter of planning, so I should update on my daily doings if possible(so maybe I can also get some friends to bug me to hurry up lol).
Checked out Liang Seng shop, which sold weapons such as shurikens & sais, but pity(& thankfully cos they've got lotsa sparring every week...horror of horrors!)that I'm not in the kagega ryu grp so I won't get to learn the sais, for example. Another scary thing that I've discovered is that...I've not been practising enough of my guitar cos my cousin asked if the strings have rusted =S Walked down to the esplanade link mall thingy & went into some of the shops.
Went back to the mrt station, then Je wanted to check out the guitar shops at peninsular plaza, so the 3 of us made our way there. So glad to see many V shaped guitars!! *hearts* Unfortunately, the cheapest I saw cost $780, so guess it'll not be within my reach! Who knows, and hopefully, that there'd be a greater demand for V shaped guitars so they'd import more & perhaps the price will go down?

Ibra left halfway, so Je & I continued w/the browsing! We left for Funan(or rather to challenger), then popped into a shop for the games & anime figurines. Was told that our cousin Raf, who recently returned from Thailand, had a fellow mate who was possessed!!! Scaryyyy. Blur Je didn't know that I was on to K-On season 2 lol. Directed my cousin to the small guitar figurines, which cost quite a bundle at $140 for 7, I think! Now I'm reminded of this shop in Wheelock which sells food models(& who knows that I may consider buying them in the future?!) Congrats to Je who won 3rd prize in the ns d&d which happened to be an itouch!
Back to Raffles City, & my cousin gave me a little scare for this event on Nov 4! Oddly enough, when Je met up wif his gf again for dinner, they accompanied(stayed outside duh) & waited for me when I headed for the washroom -_-" Overall it was pleasant to hang out with my cousin & Ibra...guess the only thing left to do next is to use my time wisely, cos I've got a feeling that more good things will be upon me if I act quickly!

Aww you're so cute!!

Each morning I awake,
my best friend beside me,
his eyes are wide with love,
and my heart soars again.

As I go through my day,
expectations on me,
my friend is always near,
to soothe my troubled mind.

When nighttime descends on us,
and the world is through with me,
at last I can meditate,
and give loving thanks for him.

My friend is very special,
a truly amazing soul,
he's very soft and gentle,
for he's my cat, after all!
