Reluctant to get up from the bed today!
Ate the macs breakkie, changed & then went out to the orthodontist! Got a pesky woman who stole my seat on the train when she changed her seat at the JE station(because the rest were the reserved seats & there was only 1 empty seat which wasn't reserved) And she had the nerve to ask me to sit at the reserved seats!! =( Stupid me to allow myself to get bullied by people! Grrr.
Was a lil late for my appointment =X fortunately the orthodontist was kinda busy with another patient, so I took a seat on the lip shaped couch. My turn came after 5 mins or so, and I admit that I am not looking forward to this new chapter of my life! Past experiences with the dentist, or rather the school nurse (from my pri sch), made me hate dental appointments because she was a nasty person during those visits. She would scold almost every kid who stepped foot into the little clinic & did cleaning for people's teeth a little too forcefully. Best of all, she'd tell us horror stories of while we were in the supine position on the chair, & so on! Back to topic...
Saw this drill like thing nearby, and I was half expecting the orthodontist to strip off some of my teeth =S
All he did was to clean my teeth, such as polishing and then adding acid?! Fixing went well, and I wasn't too pleased when I found out about the platform though. There was a funny taste in my mouth which has long gone, and I'm pretty sure that one of my friends said that it was the glue. Oh well! Will have to stay with the whole lot for a year or so. Got the wax, bought a special toothbrush, then left the place!
