Time for another update!
Been adding the other friends from my workplc on fb, and I admit that SG is really small =S
It's been one sleepy week here! I just hope that I'd be alive later in the evening XC
First things first! I'd put a time limit to meeting up and getting home on weekdays from now onwards cos I didn't meet Rah til almost 9.30pm on Tues...and when I gt home it was almost 11.30pm!! Best of all I had to walk home alone, and I'm totally not prepared for any sparring if there's a need to...
On a brighter note, I had a grand time staying in 1 of the shops at Ion and trying out the clothes for prolly almost an hour...! =X Below are some pics I took while trying out the clothes on the current hp I borrowed from my dad cos the cam ran outta battery at such a propitious moment =( A toga dress which I liked and bought! Don't mind the following slanted pics, cos the room's really small and so is the camera's ability to capture the whole length of me w/o having to tilt...
I messed around with the strings at the sides and made the X shape at my neck!
The toga combined with a fluffy skirt which I didn't buy(the skirt, nt the toga)
R finally arrived at 9.30pm or so, and my first impression was...a reallly tall and skinny guy! The dessert from Nabins, as seen below! The restaurant's concept is supposedly arabian, with couches, cushions and curtains to cover each dining area for guests to laze about and eat off the cushioned stool like tables! Didn't eat much that day cos it was already past 10pm! I had the starter and the dessert, cos wasn't too keen on the mains(too late alrdy!)! The mushroom soup was ok, though it wasn't much to my liking as there seemed to be sth missing,say, a herb or two? Below is the dessert! I let R try a lil which he pronounced it to taste like paki food?! Personally I thought it was a lil like those nonya kueh(cos of the familiar ingredients like the coconut) but it also had almonds, raisins, and such!
Overall I think this outing could have been better if there was much more talking! Moving on...A small note to the friends who i've gone out with like one on one (and maybe in a group)this year so far:Do tell when you're free again! It's no fun asking in other indirect ways only to find out that you're not free after all =(( Moving on...Saturday working wasn't as bad as i thought! The trains are as filled as ever, but the plc was pretty quiet! Just my luck that I was stuck at the same table number, but fortunately got 1 fren there to chat with on my right! Almost wanted to shift to other seats where other friends were since they had empty seats on their side, but didn't in the end! Pfft! There goes my chance to chat haha cos at where I sat was kinda quiet, and the bunch of ppl i usually chat with were scattered at the back! I had more opportunity to walk around and socialise when calls were slow to arrive...Went to disturb Sean, who was looking at a whole bunch of women in dresses from a gossip magazine LOL! There was one person who I tried calling a few times, but failed to get thru! Patrick got the call from this person at his phone and he sounded anxious,which in turn made me scared cos I thought it was some angry caller!! Luckily it was nth much haha!! =D It was Rahman's last day and we all took some pics after work, but we look quite horrible so I think i won't be posting them up! Afterwards went off to CJ for lunch with MN, and we ate xlb and the shrimp wonton soup noodles!Lastly, to end off this looooong post, I hope everyone enjoys national day!! Cheers to all! I hope to cook/bake tomorrow if it's possible!! And hopefully go out!
