Hi!

Since my handphone still has this annoying indexing problem, I'd stick to yesterday's ninja-do lesson! I've yet to blog about my CNY =X but that's ok for now...

Ninja-do 6th lesson! We did something different today...duck walk and running zig zag around chairs dispersed in the room! I think I didnt do duck walk properly since my left leg hurt a lil at the hip...but nevertheless I completed the task, whew. Running zigzag was almost like a nightmare, and yet, it was soothing compared to just running around the room since I didn't really run =X Navigating around the corners caused me to slow down, and thus, I did not have to breathe as heavily when running ended, but it still caused my face to hurt =C

When Sir took hold of a dead insect(which looked like a wasp) and showed it to the lil kids, I distanced myself and imagined that I was watching a documentary whereby the curious young of the, say prairie dog(rodents), scramble to the elder to learn more about edible and inedible food. Ok maybe I have too much of an imagination=X but at that moment it was amusing to me! The dead insect reminded me of a time when 1 classmate/friend brought a container with 2 of them to school, and showed it around...I didn't know that insects were used in chinese medicine =X I used to have the impression that chinese medicine extended to plants, worms and animal parts only...but not insects! LOL

We learnt how to join the class properly(if one were late or wanted a trip to the lavatory during lesson) by going out as a bunch and entering the room one by one. I must admit that that experience caused much laughter among us older(age) students from the antics of the small fries since they were nonsensical when they were taught!

Hand lock was pretty hilarious, since my "attacker" giggled in response to telling me that it hurt or not=S which caused a bit of confusion since i couldn't tell when to stop twisting..!

Anyway, a bunch of us gathered after ninja-do for dinner...and somehow I thought that today was a lil unusual since there was a bit of silence at 1st. When I checked my hp, I felt dread, as I had to head home earlier than before! Sheesh. 1st time it happened to me too. I think I broke from the group a lil awkwardly as I stayed for a few minutes more to see how much conversation progressed. Pity that things became more interesting before I left =C nvm! Hopefully I won't be interrupted on the next one!

Aww you're so cute!!

Yoshinoya bowls are shrinking! This was so small that I could cup the widest circumference with both my hands! I ate this while out wif K on a friday...and honestly i didnt know u could order the bowl alone =.=" cos my bf was blur and did tt when he knows that i usually want the miso soup.

I used to buy a lot of these from Causeway pt for lunch or dinner after sch and takeaway for home consumption cos none of the girls in my class wanted to eat -.-"honestly, I don't know if they r on a diet or if their eating habits are terrible...cos some would just eat biscuits or a bit of bread as a meal...scary! Neither did I like eating alone in school or elsewhere cos it's plain pathetic and loser-ish to eat alone out esp if there are ppl around but they don't want to eat! I have other friends outside my class too but they aren't available too ='( besides, I dun think i'd have any appetite to eat out alone for meals...snacks r fine cos they're ez

Supermarkets finally sell this again! For a while this ran out from the shelves, and i'm really glad cos I kinda like it! I didnt know that this meiji bars could be used in cooking too until I watched Kuitan, whereby the chars used this to bake a chocolate cake on Valentine's Day...I went to the website, and pity that I can't understand japanese! Perhaps I should learn some basic jap on food making so that i'd be able to work my magic...kidding! I'm still a newbie at cooking, and anyway I cook for fun, and nothing else! It's such a great stress reliver! I'd like to bake desserts one day...still craving for knickerbocker glories here!

Aww you're so cute!!

I was actually on a hunt on 31Jan 2010 at JP for a "smart casual outfit". Bringing along a sheet of ppr which described the rules of "smart casual" dressing, I actually went into a no. of shops trying to find sth that suited a teenager and did not look monotonous. This is an esemble that I put together from the same shop to try out 4 fun, and ended up looking like a flight stewardess!=X
This is lobster salad maki...it may look pretty and delectable but its taste proved otherwise! There was an odd, burning, pungent taste when i bit into it, and nope it didnt taste like wasabi! I haven't a clue what's in it, but this is 1 sushi that i'm not gonna eat again!

Shoes I bought from Levi's last year but have yet to wear it =X it was supposed to accompany me to the exam hall but I wore my black sneakers instead...
Bought last december(or so) were these shoes, cos I admired the sparklies that adorn the front!
Pretty! The jewel reflects light well too, but that was hampered by the restriction to the lighting above as I took this pic late at night...I bought these slippers frm C & K...not new designs (I think), but I liked them anyway so I got them! By the way, I rarely like anything that I see in most shops so this is a gd buy! Another consolation from my failed mission of getting a smart casual outfit from JP.
The sleeping cat that I encountered on 4th Feb after getting home from ninja-do and dinner! This resident cat has been around for a no. of months, since Nov 2009, I think? Rarely do the cats around my blk stay...I fed it some of my canneles once, and the cat gobbled everything up! I think I told GH about it b4? Anyway, gd to have feline company! I still miss that lil ginger kitten that my sis brought back on Jan 2006, cos it was a real mischief, smart and sweet lil guy...

Hi! A lot has happened last week...

Firstly, I helped my mom to shape prolly 240 cookies and more on Wed for baking til my hands hurt and I had a hard time moving them. Pics of the cookies will be coming up soon! I have to w8 for my hp to update itself 1st T.T.

Secondly, I tried doing some sit ups at home so that I will not suffer in ninja-do on thurs...I have yet to perfect 30. To think that I once managed to do 28 w/in the minute! Goes to show how unfit I am =S.

Thursday ninja-do was particularly interesting. We did this wheelbarrow thing around the room(1 with both arms straight, hands on the floor like push ups, and another person holds the push up person's legs) and many collapsed after a quarter, and that included me =X The lower back has to be really strong, I daresay! Gd thing that we rotated after 1 round or I'd nver survive =D At least for my 2nd round I did 3/4 of it b4 I collapsed on the ground! This week we took so long on this that I didnt get the chance to do practice for my kicks and such T.T After ninja-do most of the group hung out at the coffee shop and had dinner/drinks, since not everyone ate! We had a pretty gd time chatting and all, until I returned home at almost 12am =S I met the sleeping gingercat at my voiddeck! I'll upload its pic soon...

I went out with K at the malls in tampines on Fri. Unfortunately, the pasta that I was somewhat wishing for had bacon, so we went off to yoshinoya. Didn't know that there's such a thing as the bowl alone =.="

Guess I'll explain more on fri and sat's events in the next post! As I write this i'm actually watching "Jamie at home" on ch 5! Bye!

Aww you're so cute!!

Each morning I awake,
my best friend beside me,
his eyes are wide with love,
and my heart soars again.

As I go through my day,
expectations on me,
my friend is always near,
to soothe my troubled mind.

When nighttime descends on us,
and the world is through with me,
at last I can meditate,
and give loving thanks for him.

My friend is very special,
a truly amazing soul,
he's very soft and gentle,
for he's my cat, after all!
