Just finished this a while ago, not bad,but not so great either! Fortunately it costs only$3...cos it was on promotion when I bought it . I still prefer the chocolat au lait or the chocolate noir variety! I rarely eat it nowadays since one box costs $5.70...wayy up from $4.50 in Jan 2007!

The cute bushy tailed cat that I came across in the parking lot at Rafflesia condo on saturday! It kept moving so it was pretty hard to get a clear shot...bigger pics can b found on facebook!
Today's(saturday) my cousins' bdae celebration! The spread of food was a little small(just noodles, braised pork stuff and turnip rolls) but hey, I was ready to deal with anything since I was starving! We(some aunts and cousins) had a silly discussion about getting attached to ppl with different professions, so that, as a whole, we could be self reliant if we were a company(business)! I knew that my cousin Je was going to use something against me that I told him the day before, but fortunately I remembered an argument that I could use against him which happened in Changi! Icecream cake! How scandalous to use a huge disposable plastic plate for a tiny slice of cake which we discarded later on...perhaps I should plan a greener celebration when it comes to my party!
Items for making popiah...we had mee siam too(which I didn't quite like in reality but fortunately it wasn't as sour and hot as I expected it to be)!
Some parts of the kitchen...! There were store bought durian and mango pudding for dessert which left a strange aftertaste.

Finally managed to take its face! Somehow this pic doesn't do much justice to its looks, but it'll do. I did this after I helped my dad to bring over the many bags of clothes to Je's family's car. I mistook my cousin's yelling "bye!" to my other relatives who were driving off at that time when in fact he was saying that to my dad and i =X

When I was in the bathroom today, back from church and a trip to ntuc, this is what my older sister(who did not follow us today since she went to church on saturday) said to me:
P: "Meat! Where are you?"
M: "Changing clothes."
P: "Meat! Answer me! Where are you?"
M: "Changing clothes!"
P: " F*** it, Meat is mute!"
(to myself) : "and you are deaf..."
Who would have known that she called me just for the sake of asking me to go downstairs to help my dad open the door! Gosh. She didn't want to leave her comfy bed...and she was fully awake, up and about and totally doing nothing at that.

Hi there!
I forgot to mention yesterday that my cousin Je and I bumped into 3 guys wearing red t shirts n black pants and carrying signboards...and I would not b out of place with them since I wore similar colours =.=" even better that we bumped into them twice, once was in the basement of raffles city shopping centre and the other on the 1st floor!
A woman with a really thick accent tried to promote some cream to me when we walked past in MarinaSQ, and the only words I caught were "madam", "hand" and "cream"!
At the mrt station I spotted and talked to Raj, who was my PW leader in jc, and when I got back, I caught sight of Clement who was from my sec sch class walking up the stairs. Strange huh? I've been bumping into people I know quite recently, but hey, I enjoy the little coincidences!

I was running late for my shopping trip with Je today, but thankfully( somehow) he postponed it to 3.30pm instead of 2! I was on the train when he informed me of the change of time, and I felt terrible relieved. Meanwhile I walked around citylink mall and browsed various shops...I bought a magazine too! I was halfway in Robinson at Raffles shopping centre when he arrived...which was like 3.15pm. Glup. I guess ppl give themselves extra time to arrive?
Didnt see any camo cap since his hair grew out a bit! Don't know why but my cousin looks skinnier than me =X we went to this underground rows of shops(peninsular shopping centre or sth lik tt) after getting out from the mrt station! Such a pity that the V shaped guitars sold in singapore are really exp! The mall was pretty quiet too...were it not for the guitar shops, i'm pretty sure that the area will be really empty!
We walked on to bras basah, but some shops sold even more expensive guitars and various other stuff! I think my cousin was looking for some mike stand and a headnut, but found neither. Bad karma for us today!
Moved on to macs since the last meal was 11.30am or so...and to think that both woke at similar times today(7+am) =.=". I ordered the icecream (again!) since didnt want to interfere w/dinner (it was around 4-5ish pm)but my cousin got the prosperity burger and pronounced it delish. Talked about random stuff like this anime called K-on, toads, detention and stuff...Well, at least talking and laughing kinda made up for the terrible luck in shopping!
Accompanied Je to MarinaSQ to hunt for movie tix since he was going out with his gf later...I'm surprised that he has yet to watch Avatar. Walked around a lil more til about 7 then I left for home! All in all it was a pleasant afternoon, thankfully. At least I didn't run out of stuff to say!

Hi! Yours truly is here again!
On Wed I went down to Aljunied to this building for a certain job interview...foolishly I didnt find the picture of the building online and proceeded to walk on, and fortunately I caught sight of the name at the entrance of the building! The interior of the company were in shades of black, grey etc...with mismatched patterns, and a no. of ppl my age were sitting around filling in application forms! I grabbed a form too, and had to wait for a while for the interview...gd thing tt the interviewer was friendly looking enough as previously I was rather bored waiting around for my turn.
After this ended, I went to the 4 storey high forever21 in 313somerset! I met GH some time after that, and bought canneles from Le Grenier a Pain...sad to say that they were a little disappointing since they were cold...and expensive. I bought 4, and since payment was by weight, I had to pay $5.30...business seemed kind of slow too. I certainly hope that the one in sembawang has fresher and warmer canneles!
Headed for Orchard Central cos 313 somerset didnt have any craft store! (GH wanted to make a card for his gf for V day) The craft store on lvl 6 is awesome...but too bad no metallic studs which I can't seem to find anywhere =(. After the shopping we headed for mos burger, but instead went to macs in the end. Who'd have known that neither had milkshake...!GH was hungry...how on earth could he have the energy to head out w/o having breakkie or lunch 1st is beyond me.
Ninjado was pretty fun on thurs since I learnt how to pull punches! We did the kicking routine too, and I'm glad that the lesson had no squats...or i wouldn't be able to meet Je on Fri. The whole group hung out after lesson for dinner, but not everyone ate! Somehow one black belt girl and the instructor were "arguing" over fries til the point that I thought that they were father and daughter =S the girl who sat in between them must have had a hard time eating her dinner!
Didnt know that most of them are like a yr or so younger than me=X There was, however, 1 guy whose looks reminded me of my physics tchr mr teo frm my jc, only younger. Such an uncanny resemblence!To think that he actually used physics to explain the way to stand properly! A bunch of us bought drinks from 7-11 for some 1 for $1 promo...mine was pokka peach tea. M rather surprised to read the ingredient list, which I rmb to b "water, black tea, sucrose, etc!"
Good thing that my classmates are friendly people since my social skills aren't the best =S 11 of us gathered around 2 tables, and most of them ordered this chicken, rice and coleslaw thingy! Since I was pretty free(with the occasional stirring and drinking of bottled drink with straw) I had the opportunity to observe the way they ate. I was rather surprised at the amount of business that the coffee shop had. From scanning the area I noticed that most were beer chugging ah peks dotted with females at the tables...there were random families and teenagers having supper/late dinner...don't know y but as I'm writing this i'm thinking about curry!
The whole group dispersed at around 11pm, with more random chatter...and oh! I got the gi(the uniform) today! It's white, and only if a person reaches black belt then goes on to have the black gi..gah. I hope that I remember how to tie the belt by next week...I wouldn't want to be the one who will cause the entire class to go thru punishment if I fail to tie the belt right! My only regret was talking on the phone later that night...as it caused me to have insomnia!

Amazing! My Godmom called the house in the evening and told us tt Je restrung his acoustic guitar today and has decided to lend it to me?! Gosh. Seriously, I'm touched. Don't know y it happened(or maybe I do?)but perhaps it's to allow me to get used to a guitar b4 I head out to buy 1 for real? Cos I'm such a newbie, and it's kinda hard 4 me to determine what's gd. I've yet to play with a real 1 much anyway so there's a lil chance 4 me to c if I can stand pressing the strings wif my left hand...Heard that they were discussing as a family too...whoa!
Something I came across from the storeroom! The old "spaceship" from Astrochallenge Competition! The one which I joined for fun in May/June 2007 to make up a group of 4 after seeing a notice on ijc portal! I teamed up wif these 3 JC2s(then), namely OZQ, Lenard and Prem...the 1st time I saw these ppl were in a lib in woodlands civic centre. I remembered that during one of the days in IJC's library we were deciding on the name for this spaceship(sprayed black wif lotsa spikes(straws) when OZQ came up with this silly name of "la magnifi-san" which caused me to laugh uncontrollably then!
The black interior, a smaller styrofoam sphere, which we all bought from Art Friend in Bras Basah...don't know why but looking back, those days were fun...notice the tiny sections of the rooms surrounding the smaller sphere, aka the reactor providing the energy to travel in space 4 50 years...
This was really a pain in the neck...sticking aluminium foil(bought by me from cold storage in causeway point)followed by plastic bag bits 
Notice this green half sphere? I painstakingly used a pencil end and a pen nib to scrape the indentation! Omg. We used pretty primitive tools to create this!

Oh, I recall once that we had to do our project in Macs of wdlds civic centre...and we made wobbly antennas for the outer sphere half, which Prem wore as a joke since the antennas moved whenever his head did! I think a more detailed recount of this event is at OZQ's blog...anyway, I'm off to watch more Kuitan!

What a day! My irresponsible cousin, Je, who was supposed to go out with me today to buy a guitar, didn't tell me that there was a change of plans til I smsed him twice...and he claimed that he was going to sell his amp. To think that 2 days ago he said about sunday afternoon since he had guard duty on fri-sat, but went ahead to do other things w/o telling. Sheesh. Some cousin. I wonder if he gets his jollies from ditching people at the last minute. To think that he offered to help me find one but end up changing the time w/o mentioning anything til I had to prompt.
Anyway, this is the kueh bolu that my 1st Godmom gave to me yesterday(thru my parents)! Notice that it's already half empty though it's been opened today =D It's really delish
If anyone's able to guess what this brown blob placed in a plastic bag is, I'll c u within a wk!(i hope)? Hint: it's edible!

Spent some time deleting smses from my hp due to some indexing problem( sorting out pics and other files on it I suppose)! I think I deleted about a thousand...but the pesky problem continued to plague my hp!!Argh! I wanted to upload some pics that I took recently from my lil adventure to a certain modelling agency on my own, and the company's interior...anyway I turned the job down(due to $$ reasons and the possibility of a scam). Oh, and I painted my nails dark blue today...but I think that was a mistake because it ended up looking a lil green =X Meanwhile I watched this series called Kuitan which was pretty interesting! Not a show for the easily influenced...because it features LOTS of food consumption! I'm only up to ep 3...cos each ep is about 55mins, I think?

I shld quit keeping late nights >.<
Spent quite an amount of time talking to peeps online wif lotsa interesting topics...just yesterday, fri 22/01/10, I had 7 msn windows! Thankfully not all conversations were going on at the same time or i'd be like this : X_X
Gd to chat online since i've been afflicted with the nasty sorethroat :'( I wish I don't have to talk at all for this week. Yawning causes my throat to hurt too, apart from swallowing =(
Here's the bag which I conveniently use for ninjado! It's free from signing up for the passion card membership...the card will arrive after 2 months, or so I was told.
I've been pretty pleased with this purchase which I bought sometime this year when I went shopping with MN=D It has all the 5 makeup brushes with a pouch so it's travel-friendly! Best of all it's only $9...I seriously hope that they'll last =X Good for people like me who are newbies when it comes to slapping on war paint XD
It's Day 3 since my 1st ninja-do lesson and i'm still aching in the legs! Gosh. I've been walking rather oddly because it's hard to bend my knees...can't wait for the ache to leave so that I can be more well prepared for the next ninja-do class!

Hi everyone! This is my first official post on this blog! Today I tried cooking tomato ditalini soup with some help from my mom. Below are several pic of the ingredients and the resulting dish!
This is chopped onion and celery...I must admit tt I did make a bit of mess chopping the onion, since it's my 1st time after...hmm...5 years?!
Bertolli Classico olive oil! This was chosen after some consideration and research online...price wise i find it reasonable enough.
I have to admit, the colour of the soup wasn't really appetizing when it was on the stove to boil...
And here's the result w/o chopped fresh flat leaf parsley! We used heinz chicken broth, and the resulting taste reminded me of...canned soup T.T anyway it was gd, but i suppose in the future we shld make the broth ourselves!
Coincidentally, my sis bought some instant mix of brownies tdy, adding tt she wanted to make them since forever. However, in the morning,today, b4 she left 4 sch, she asked mom if I was cooking tdy. Isn't it rather odd that the 2 shld clash tgt? Becos if she had wanted to ck them a long time ago, she wld hav bought them a while back, n not tdy. Competitive? Hmm...u decide!

1st ninjado lesson today! The moment I entered the class, I was partially relieved and disappointed...as who would have known that the outfit was white and not black! Thankfully a no. of ppl were about my age, and not a classroomful of kids. Warm-ups were a killer since I hadn't had a proper exercise since JC...my kicks were crappy, I must admit. Nvm! I gotta practise more! I was also given a form to officially join the group, which i gotta fill in w/in the next 2 wks! Gosh. I didnt bring a towel tdy, and was the only 1 wif shoes T.T but I do have my reasons. Perhaps I shld get some new slippers! A group of them gathered 4 dinner, which I didnt join since I alrdy ate. Gah. Hopefully things will go better next wk!
